Rescan is a
multidisciplinary Canadian consulting firm offering a wide range of
environmental and engineering services to clients around the world.
Rescan specializes in environmental assessments, environmental monitoring and
project management, and assists industries, institutions and governments in
realizing environmentally sound project development. Rescan’s
environmental engineers offer expertise for meteorological studies and
atmospheric dispersion modeling assessments. These sophisticated
meteorological studies and dispersion models can be used to estimate the
environmental impact that air emissions may have on the surrounding
environment. Rescan has installed, programmed and commissioned numerous
automated meteorological stations which are solar powered and transfer data
at regular intervals to a base stations or satellite. The oceanography
group at Rescan specializes in characterizing the physical, chemical and
biological marine environment. Conceptual and numerical models are
developed to provide insight into coastal processes, potential environmental
impacts from project activities, and ultimately to implement design solutions
for coastal developments. Rescan’s capacity to quickly mobilize
personnel and equipment to meet client needs, has allowed our team of
professionals to become involved in wide-ranging meteorological and
oceanographic projects throughout the globe. We own, maintain, and
operate much of the equipment required in these assignments, and excel at
resolving complex environmental issues effectively. |
